Ms. Emily Peters, Assistant Principal

I am so excited to be part of the amazing team of teachers and staff at Signal Hill Elementary School! In the last two years, I have certainly seen that it is a fantastic school where meaningful learning takes place every day.

I have truly enjoyed my last two years here at Signal Hill and am proud to work with Ms. Wrenn and our group of dedicated and caring teachers.  Over the past twelve years I have taught sixth grade in a middle school, first grade, fourth grade, and Spanish as a World Language to elementary school students. I attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst for my undergraduate degree in Spanish and Elementary Education and then later received a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Westfield State College, also in Massachusetts.  I am currently working diligently to complete my doctoral degree in Instructional Leadership.

I am certain that this school year will bring about many incredible learning experiences not only for our students, but also for me. Ms. Wrenn and I look forward to working with the staff, parents, students, and members of the Signal Hill community again this year. We are sure to walk around the building and find engaged, thoughtful, enthusiastic students and teachers.
